that is one beautiful pad but... what happens when the button breaks and ur leg goes through the bottom of the pannel :dizzy: slicing your leg with cracked plexi?

heh i went the cheap way and bought a metal pad... only 140 bucks for 2 shipped (seperate purchases) and im a big heavy guy so i never miss steps lol not that ive used em in a while... lol

those cobalt flux are really expensive and they cut my feet up (my friends gf has em)

It is pretty sloppy but thats a real shite MIG welder hes using and to be fair, MIG doesnt have to look pretty to be VERY functional.

No, it only has to look pretty to look pretty. If I put this kind of time & effort into a project, it's damn well gonna look pretty.

Its not the welder (machine) its the welder (person). He didnt have the heat and wirespeed right for that thickness of metal. Just grind it off and start over. Thats what I do when my welds on my rock crawler look like crap.
