I'm writing this from the Winngate Inn, just outside Houston's Bush Intercontinental Airport.
I'm in hell.
So far I've been traveling for about 30 hours straight with the only sleep I've had being the crick in my neck I recieved on the 3.5 hour flight from Newark.
I am cranky, smelly, and tired exhausted dead.
In total I've been delayed more than 8 hours, and I have yet to make the longest part of my journey...Houston to Tokyo. A 19.5 hour flight.
Help me.

I didn't want to hear you ---smurfette--- and complain, but read it anyway. The longest travel I ever did was 24 hours and it was hell. I hope you can survive without (severe) sequels, good luck.

My Saturday afternoon nap today was bloody spectacular.

Try driving from Virginia to Phoenix, AZ... I did that 2 weeks ago. One day I drove 988 miles... now that sucks.
-
At least when you're driving, you have the option to pull over and take a catnap.
Its a little more challenging trying to convince the pilot of a 767 to "pull over" 30,000 feet over the Atlantic.
Ugh! I've been here for only 3 hours.
Just enough time to get cleaned up. Now I have to go back to the airport to do the "bovine shuffle" and get fondled by someone with a double-digit IQ earning a tripple-digit income.
*Sigh*...and I'm still wearing the same underwear I was 2 days ago

In my best Nelson Muntz voice: "Ha-Ha".

Umm... if you're not flying the plane, I think you can take a nap... :dizzy:

People who sleep tick me off with their smug sleeping. ---smurfing--- sleepers.

you quitter! couldn't go just 12 more miles to make it 1000? I have no sympathy.
-
So, did you get there, or did you start halucinating from lack of sleep and fall off the airplane?

I know! I wanted to, but the motel was right there and I was starting to go cross-eyed, so...
