Title: MAME Cabinet for sale
Post by: thelevin8r on May 30, 2006, 07:56:58 pm
Hello folks. This is the site that first turned me on to building this. I posted it on Craigs list Seattle:

I didn't get any action on Craigs list, so now it is on ebay. Just in case someone is interested....

LOL, I got 2 requests for "sell me your roms"  then I decided to post the answer; not gonna happen!

Thanks for the layout props... I was so into the whole project of making this cab. From the day I bought it, it consumed my life! I laid the control panel out with a Visio template that I found here (do not remember who I should thank for that), and played around with it many times. I would print it out, then lay my controls on it test the feel. It looks more cramped then it really is, but I really wanted it is stay within the dimensions of the cabinet, so that really limited the space. I also posted lots of questions here. Many of you help me in this endeavor and I certainly enjoyed every minute of it. Truth be told, building and setting it up was arguably the funnest part of the project! It really is not done, I had plans to design an overlay for the control panel (the winner gets the plexy glass for it) and my own marque, plus add pinball and a juke box but I never got that far. I will keep my classic gaming alive with my modded xbox though, so all is not lost, just the nostalgia of an actual arcade machine...
