Title: GP-Wiz49 wiring??
Post by: lettuce on May 30, 2006, 01:04:17 pm: I have a GP-Wiz49 interface No-Solder version, and am a bit unsure where to wire the left over wires from the IDE cable that dont plug into the 49-way joystick. Where do these extra strip of wires on the IDE cable go to?

They go to buttons, etc. But you may want to use a "euro" style terminal block in-between. You can also wire them directly to your button wires.

Check out the diagram on the instruction sheet. It will tell you which pin does what.

So you can wire a regular Happ Competition stick (or 2) plus all your buttons to the GPwiz in addition to the 49 way stick if you want.

I plan to use a GPwiz49 to power an entire control panel (minus the trackball and spinner of course)
