Title: Mounting a 49-Way, which way?

Which way round should a Midway 40-way stick be mounted, as i think ive made a big mistake

This is taken from the GGG instructions that come with the GPwiz49.

Great, ive mounted the stick so the IDE connector is at the top when looking from above! Would it be possible to unscrew the bottom section of the 49-Way stick and rotate the circuit board so the IDE connector is on the left and then screw it back to the stick??

I do believe someone has done that.  I thought I read a thread about that not so long ago.(A month maybe?)

Yup. Very easy. just unscrew and rotate. No problem.  The mount is rectangular, so being able to rotate it allows a variety of installation options as well.
