Title: Adhesive Remover
Post by: JeepMonkey on May 19, 2006, 11:01:59 pm
I was given a 2'x2' piece of plexi from a friend.  The problem is that there was apparently a piece of duct tape alaong the bottom for a while which was removed.  So there is adhesive residue as well as the strands left along with the bottom.

Any good ideas on what will take this off and not damage the plexi?

soap, warm water, and a sponge or wash cloth.  Soak the plexi for several minutes in the soapy water and the glue will come off easy.

Thanks.  I'll give it a try.

Use some of these stronger chemicals on plexi with caution.  You don't want to haze the finish.
