Title: optiwiz cable to optiwiz orientation?

do I have this cable attached the right way, it attaches either way so I dont know which is correct?  thanks

Yes, that is how mine is connected.  The true test is if the movement is correct when you connect it it the trackball - if not, reverse it.  But as I said, that's how mine is connected.

thanks I will try it, my main concern was making sure not to fry anything by connecting it the wrong way.

do you have the buttons connected if so can you post a pic or a "how to" so I can connect mine. thanks

See the photo for where to connect the button wires.  I found that those internal sound cables (from the CD drive to the soundcard) fit these pins nicely.  You  might need to hack a couple to get all the wires you need but you'll find out that it's pretty simple. 

The Optiwiz is marked for what goes where, but I elaborated in the photo.
