Title: Question about arcadeVGA's tv out feature -- for dual monitors
Post by: thetered on May 17, 2006, 04:53:24 pm
I wanted to hook up my tv to my mame machine also so I could have the image on both screens, but when I plug in my monitor and the TV and restart it automatically goes to the TV when messing with settings I can't get it to both, when I unplug the TV from the card and restart it the arcade monitor picks the signal back up.  Is it possible to have it on both at the same time or is one at a time the limitation of the card?

no, i dont think you can set it up as a 2nd monitor. That is exactly what I tried.

BUT, you CAN get both of the screens working at the same time in mirror mode.
You just boot up without the TV connected, and then plug it in, in windows display advanced properties, go to the TV section and enable the tv. FINISHED! But then you cannot run mamewah. :/
But the next time you reboot it will default to the tv, so it is a big hassle.
