Title: double picture on monitor, can someone help please

Hello, and thanks for reading, my uncle has a rear projection TV and suddenly the screen start too show a double picture, i can see that the red color its not lineup with the green color but also the green color looks out of its way too, i try to Agline the color on the back of the TV but with the focus mechanism work but i just cant Agline the colors...any ideas? maybe its not that maybe somehing Else broke? thanks allot

Usually it's the deflection circuit that has gone bad.

(In some rptv's the deflection for all guns are done thru 1 ic, this ic fails and then you have guns firing without corrections, also trying to converge the tv doesn't work)



Have you done electronic repair before?


If not, have a service tech deal with it, the ic on mine that I replaced had 32 legs I think.
