i wouldnt ever sell a gift card or buy oen for that matter.... fraud would be so easy with that....

Meh. It was a work perk that I didn't need.  Listed it for $50.  Didn't think that it would go sky high like that.  I guess if you want to buy something at best buy, it's like an automatic discount.  I posted here mainly to let you guys know about the other 4 auctions.

That's kinda weird... selling the gift card. Let's say the bidding ends at $100 for a $110 gift card. You get $100 minus your shipping costs.

All you had to do was go to Best buy and purchase something cheap, like a CD, and then get the balance in cash. (or can't you do that? I think it's illegal for them to force you to spend it)

You can't get a balance back.  It's a reusable gift card, and you can only use it at Best Buy.  If I bought a $10 cd, I would have $100 on the card instead of $110. By auctioning it off, I get the cash instead of the credit.
