Title: golden axe sound problem

Hi all,

I hope someone here is knowledgeable with this type of game board (System 16-B). I seem to be missing some sound effects when running this game up. Most notably, the sounds that are missing are the digitized voices (ie: yelling, screaming, etc.), and a few special FX sounds (ie: lightning). From what I was able to find from a lot of searching on the internet, since I don't have the service manual, I assume that this problem may be related to my A Board's 12384 EPROM (Position A-11).

I tried cleaning the pins and EPROM slot, but there doesn't seem to be any change; I can still here special effects sounds and all of the music, just no voices. I even tried swapping the chip over to position A-12

any idea ???
