Title: MYX CP artwork... Critiques please

Hey all, I just posted my art in the projects forum but wanted to keep the art conversation here as it is the artwork forum. I Posted over there for my timeline. .

Tonight I started zeroing in on the art. Since the CP has already been shaped and drilled I modded the CP art to match. I had originally used CPDesigner to lay this out. I then took that and mad the original artwork. When I went to start drilling and shaping I had a real scale thing to work with and visualize with. so my layout changed somewhat. So tonight I put into Photoshop what my actual panel is. Now I am not sure if my original design will work. I am still tinking with it though. I am definitely going to be using this color scheme with this type of design, I just may have to change it a bit.

Please let me know your thoughts, comments, critiques.

I did sumore work on the CPO. I realized when I was looking at my last post that the side brackets were not placed equally. So, I worked on that, then worked on the points and angles trying to tune it in. Then I widened the globe in the center and liked that. I made a snapshot of that then continued. I tried to slope and streak several points within the design. I did not really like any of the results. Then I tried playing with (what I call) the eyes. I rounded the upper inside of the eyes and really liked it. I think that the square eyes look meaner which I really like, but the rounded eyes are cool stylistically. So I am still trying to decide what to do. Any comments would be helpful.

Awesome background, dude .... no matter if the eyes are squared or rounded  :)

Will the blue circle in the middle be a trackball? What is that button at the lower right for?

And all those other buttons on the top?

Asteroids set up. (Or defender). The one above the left side is for Vanguard.

Very Nice MYX,
I like the one with the eyes myself. It has more of that alien feel to it. Great color combinations. It really jumps out at you.
