Well I just proved that is pays to be nice to folks. I had one of my son's friends ask me if he could put together a machine for his little brother from my junk parts. I said sure and that I could put the system together for him and bring it to him. Well when I delivered said computer he asked me if I wanted this old jukebox in return, he was quick to tell me it had no guts and had been in his garage for a while. Well I checked it out and all I can say is DA*****************N. Turns out it is a Wurlitzer "New York, NY" circa 1993 CD jukebox. As mentioned most of the guts are gone, the only thing left are all the light/bubblers, the amplifier, power supply, speaker crossover, and some kind of control board I do not recognize (did I mention all the wording inside is in German). Needless to say I told him no problem and brought it to my house, that sucker is HEAVY. After cleaning it up, I plugged it in and check what I could. All the lights work and the bubblers bubble, the guy I got it from said that the amp worked when they still had the CD mech in it, so I am hoping he is right. Also looks like the button panel is still in tact and it is not matrix type, still haven't checked if they work yet. Even the CD in the front still turns. I am posting pictures of it, this is just after I cleaned it up (it was covered in about an inch of pine pollen, I live in southern Arkansas so it is a way of life here). Oh, I removed the mirrors in the lower cabinet, where the lower bubblers are, because they were completely messed up.
Well the plans are to get a couple of smaller flat screen and use them in place of the CD sheets/title strips, make some shallow disco light boxes to replace the mirrors, and put a motherboard in with a couple of big hard drives for music. I will try to post every so often to update my progress.
I posted this to remind everyone it does pay to be nice to people.

Have you considered restoring this wonderful beauty?
It may be worth more restored. Did I mention it is a cool as cool can be?

You might be right you know that is a cool looking juke and maybe it is worth restoring. I don't know about the value of these things but it looks well cool.

What an excellent find!!! As someone that has experience working on professional jukes you could find more contemporary internal parts easier that the original. If you had the mechanism and the tube electronics for it the machine would only play 78
