Title: CRT VS LCD a good CRT/ HD is the Toshiba 30HF85
Post by: divemaster127 on May 04, 2006, 04:39:54 pm
I have been reading the pro's & cons of lcd, I was looking at getting a lcd 32" Toshiba this week vs the Toshiba 30HF85 crt HD, I get a awesome military discount but the Toshbia lcd was $1150.00 vs $390 for the 30" HD crt, so I purchased, the CRT for the Xbox 360...Im looking at replacing my 19" viewsonic crt, what is a very good 19-20" crt for the computer, I play a lot of WOW etc....just looking for some opinions...
thanks

It is heavy 110lbs, I spoke to my rep at Toshiba & he stated for the money & picture quality a HD crt is still the best way to go

I agree. Not to mention longevity and viewing angles.

It's a space issue really. I live in the midwest and we tend to have larger rooms in the midwest. My brother lives in Chicago and he got a flat panel to reclaim some sq. ft. and it makes a big difference in his house. Sometimes you NEED a flat panel.
