Title: building a dedicated tiger woods cab - have monitor question
Post by: michelevit on May 04, 2006, 04:12:49 pm
me and some friends currently get together to play tiger woods 2006 on my mamecabinet
which currently has a 22 inch computer monitor. I have found a 32 inch CRT monitor that
will display an 800*600 resolution. The price is nice, but it is a ways away.

What I am wondering if if this 800*600 resolution enough for Tiger woods 2006.
This would be a dedicated cabinet with a trackball and maybe 4 buttons (flyover, club up and club down
and shot type) I am looking to build something large that will fill a corner of my game room.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. The monitor looks big and heavy and before I pick it up
I would love to know if people can recommend this setup. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Thanks again.

I had problems with it at 800x600.  It would only try and run at 1024x768.  Thats just my experience though...the box says it should run at 800x600.

if the game will run on that. the monitor i am picking up for the cab will be a 32 incher! i want to make
sure it works before i pick it up.

I think that would work out great! If the game gives you trouble running at the selected resolution, I know that there a couple of apps out there that will force the resolution to whatever you set it to. I believe it is called RefreshForce and can be found here:
