Title: I-Pac multiple ground connections.

I just got my I-Pac and I see that it supports multiple ground connections as there are 2 ground connectors. Would it be bad practice to terminate more than one ground connection in each? Say if I had 3 grounds and wanted to split them 2 - 1. Thanks in advance.

You can usually stuff a few ground wires into the terminals if needed, but they might not be secured very well by the terminal screw.  Most people daisy-chain grounds together (the ground wire from one button or joystick goes to another button or joystick and so on) with just one ground wire coming off the whole thing, and that wire goes to the I-PAC.

I personally use a separate terminal block to run my grounds to, and that in turn goes into the I-PAC, so I really only use one of the ground terminals to connect 5 joysticks and 23 buttons.

Great, thanks. I was just wondering because my cab design features swappable control panels and I want to have a few permanent buttons in the cab itself. To keep things neat, I want to run the panel button and joystick grounds separately, giving me a total of 3 ground connections. Thanks again.
