I just received some Sanwa parts from Ponyboy. The joystick has 5 pins for wires. However, I don't know what each pin goes with. What's ground, what's down ect...
I searched around for this, but found no answers. I could take it apart and trace it, but I'd figure I'd ask here first. Does anyone know what pin goes with what?

if you wouldnt mind helping me out too. Also what is the yellow piece for? I have the 5 prong wire just dont know which wire goes where on my keywiz

kiddk1, that yellow piece is a restrictor plate used exclusively on Seimitsu sticks - if someone sold this to you as a Sanwa, you've been lied to.
The plate "restricts" the actual movement of the shaft:
using the top circular hole will make it an 8-way, the middle groove will
only allow 2-way movement, and the diamond shape at the bottom will make it a 4-way by making diagonals impossible.
Sanwas and Seimitsus use the same pin-out and are interchangeable,
so Orclord's post should apply to you as well.

I actually was given this and some other controls when I purchased a cab, I just assumed it was a sanwa b/c it looks the same. I plan on using it as a 4 way b/c I have 2 happs 8 ways. thanks
