Title: Good sniper games in MAME?

Already did a search and didn't see anything.

I've been playing Golgo13 to death. Are there any other good sniping games in MAME?

To my knowledge Golgo13 is the only arcade sniper game.... for that matter it's probably the only dedicated sniper game in the history of video games.  Also notice that it was only released in Japan... there's a reason for that.....


Sniper games aren't popular because in most people's opinon at least, they aren't very fun. 

You sit and slowly dial in a helpless target..... That's right up there with NRA's Varment Hunter.

Try Blaster - that one is a sniper game - like xenophobe feel, but as a sniper view. Not a bad game.....

Silent scope is a fps... in other words you can move around and stuff.  It definately revolves around sniping but I'm not sure you could compare it to golgo13 as in golgo you basically sit tight and get one, maybe two targets and the level is over.


My point was, I doubt you are going to find many like golgo as it was kinda boring.  At least to most.

You can't move in SS. All you have as a control is a sniper rifle.

I guess I should try Golgo 13 to know what you're really talking about.  ;D

It's the pre-cursor to that series.  Think SS but even LESS fun.  (If that is even possible.)
