how to wire up multiple systems to a single arcade cabinet?
I am planning to put in an xbox and a PC into my cabinet.
The controllers i hooked up are Xbox+PS2+gamecube all in one controllers, and the lightguns are LCD topgun all in one.
I can hook up all the systems individually, if i unhook and switch the video and controllers. Is there a good way to put it all into one switch?

I would try one of these:

Glad someone else posted this. I was wondering the same thing. Its all so simple! I've got a couple of those cheapo-walmart switchers laying around. I can just slide it into the keyboard drawer!
now for a question to dougman, what did you use to wire that controller? A splitter and converters? or a custom wire job? Or was it a universal controller?

Hmmm.. looks like i have to get a BUNCH of switchers. since the controllers have 4 pins each (USB/Xbox), lightguns are another bunch of pins and the video is 5 pins each. :O
I hacked apart my soul calibur 2 universal joysticks. They are always on sale for like $20 or less.

If you don't mind hacking apart the cables you could use something like thisDB25-4 Manual 4-Way Data Switch Box (http://www.geeks.com/details.asp?invtid=DB25-4&cat=PRN)

I made custom leads to combine video/audio/controls/power switch into one cable per system. I used hacked printer cables and a printer switchbox...so everything is switched at once :)
Sorry it's not very detailed but there is a little bit about it here: http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php?topic=18812.120
