Title: WTF happened to Vicks?

I have a pretty bad head cold, so I headed out to CVS to get some decongestants. I can't take Sudafed due to blood pressure. I bought a thing of Afrin Spray and a Vicks inhaler. I assumed the inhaler was just menthol for clearing your sinuses. I took a hit off of it and began feeling woozy. I double checked it and it is an amfetamine? What the hell? I thought Vicks is just Menthol? I just threw it away.

The stuff you spread on your chest is menthol.  I never heard of the inhaler stuff.

I can't wait to hear the stories of all the crap you get into or have happen to you after you finally get out of high school.  Thank you for posting, though.  You give everyone a "well, at least my life isn't THAT bad" feeling.

It was an inhaler you shove up your nose and inhale. I was bouncing off the walls and my bp was at 160/100.

levmetamfetamine is a nasal decongestant.  But Sudafed can do the same thing and send your heart racing.  Well, the old kind of sudafed that you now have to buy from your pharmacist to keep you from making speed out of it in your kitchen
