Thanks Snaake but I was going to purchase a chip to fix about four broken xboxes. I was going to install the chip fix the xbox and then uninstall and then do the same to the others.

what do you guys think about this:

Any thoughts Ive never heard of this chip before.!!??

The hypre X is brand new and is supposed to be high quality. But i didn't think it was released yet

Grab a duox2 gs chip and a few extra male pin headers.
I just got a 5 pack from otbmods and they ship very quickly.
A chip and 5 extra pin headers will run you about 20.49 + shipping.

Hey dabone
What does this option mean?
Available Options Information (Please select below):
-Want us to presolder the included female header to the chip for you? Choose this option to save you some work and ensure a good connection to the chip every time!
Should I get this? Is it necessary?
-
The board comes without the female header attached. (This is the part that the male headers that you would attach to the xbox mb plug into)
You have to use some needle nose to yank out a couple of non used pins and then solder the connector to the mod chip.
How good are your soldering skills?
Because if this will cause you problems, then actually putting the male headers might not be the thing for you.

Well Dabone what would you recommend being that I will be using this chip for diffrent xbox versions?

Dabone's method would require that you solder a male pin header onto each motherboard in all of your xbox's. Then you would only have to desolder and re-solder just two wires whenever you move the chip from box to box. It would be the cheapest method but would still require a good amount of soldering. Especialy if you have a number of 1.6 Xbox's which require you to rebuild the LPC. If you don't want to have to solder at all then the best method would be to get an Xodus S.P. Solderless adapter for $23.99 which works with the DuoX2 chip. The S.P. adapter will work on all versons of Xbox motherboards so you don't have to wory about it not working with a specific version of Xbox.

So you mean with this solution I could just open the xboxes throw the chip in there and fix then take the chip off with no problems or soldering?
-
he is saying you have to solder the pins on the board. pin header still wont work for 1.0 xbox cuz the holes are already soldered so you have to wire install it. Its very easy though except the d0 point is tiny.

Plus a chip for 15?
This one is no solder. Never used it myself, but I've been soldering for 20 years.

Here's a guide for 1.0 thru 1.5 xboxes.
(Hey that looks pretty darn easy)
You know is not possible to reflash the tsop with a lpc based mod chip right?
I hope you are just trying to fix softmodded boxes.
