Title: HAPP 360
Post by: reko19 on April 29, 2006, 10:50:37 pm
Out of five joysticks I bought, two are only working in three directions. One if refusing to move down, anther to go to the right.  According to happ, most likely misaligned sensors.  Anybody else is having problems?

I did, and I was able to fix it fairly easily.  Please see the post below and let me know if you need any additional help.

happ controls is straight up gay when it comes to customer service. I bought 10 p360 from them and 6 of them didnt go left and down. I build 10 sticks at a time..wired them up and everything then realized they dont work. So I send them back for a refund or exchange and they simply send it back to me saying "we cant do anything you already soldered them" AND they said "all the sticks work find they were tested after we got them back from you" ::)

people at happs are bunch of cakeholes if you ask me..I was so pissed off I just threw those sticks away.

That's a shame, since the fix is so easy.

thats really weird. i guess i wont buy those then. I bought some Mag T sticks. both did not return to center. After taking them apart i got one that has been working really good. havent had a problem since. The second one sucks. It worked for a short time, eventually somehow in my tampering i broke the microswitch. Its different then say a regular microswitch from a button so im sure it will suck to replace it. stupid shipping will likely cost more then the stick. I was thinking of replacing them for the 360 since it would be quiet.

now i just dont know. maybe i will try and get some leafswitch joys.

Kangum, I have 3 P360s and I love them!  I haven't had a single problem with them.  I'm not disputing what others are saying, but it's too good of a stick to throw out of the running for your cab.  But, You're probably better off buying them from someone on this board than from Happ.

All my Inductive Suzo's (3) work like a charm, and there's no way they can get a problem like this. Suzo rules ! (and they have GREAT customer support too) !

(Ow damn, almost forgot they merged with Happ some time ago ;) )

What a shame they don't make the inductives any more  :lame:

They are also way cheaper than the p360's: you can order them still at http://www.tntamusements.com/ (http://www.tntamusements.com/) for about 18 bucks....

P360 isn't wrong joystick but must be "repaired" by myself.
About mag-stiks centering you find info on ultimarc forum in this thread:
