man, "arcade misc" is a rough crowd!

ok, forced me to do a search; turns out
there are plenty of answers out there.

looked at itsgames.com: wow! they've got tons of people hooked on their scam at $4 a game! nice work if you can get it...

I would say the "fore" series is the best.  The first couple of Golden Tee games were terrible.  I won't even mention them.  The second round of Golden Tee's, (97,98,99,2k,3d, classic, etc.), are what is available in Mame.  The fore series has more enhanced 3d courses.  Similar to Tiger Woods for the consoles.  They have better graphics and are much more challenging.  I personally love all of them, as you can always make yourself better at the game.  The "Live" Series just came out, but they are crazy expensive since they are so new.  A good person here to get into contact with is Markrvp.  He made an entire cabinet with a kit that has all the years of the "fore" series.  I believe that is 15 courses in one machine!
