Title: 3 quick questions
Post by: Malacus on April 27, 2006, 01:34:05 pm
howdy howdy!

I had a few questions that I'd hope someone could answer!

1- Are there any shops that sell arcade parts? I dont mean online shops like WICO or HAPPS, but real stores you can go to. A list of these for future BYOACers would be nice, even if there arent any near where I live! (Dayton, Ohio)

2- Has anyone used any controls from DreamArcades? they've got a pretty slick deal on ebay for a whole 2 joy 12 button 2 start button setup. I'm namely wanting to know how their Bat-top joys feel.

3- *offtopic* Does anyone know of any GOOD jobs within 25 miles of the 45342 area?  ;D any help in THAT area would be GREATLY appreciated.

when you have no job then any job is a good job....

the next step after getting a good job is finding a better job...

I guess the reference point depends on how much you earn now.  If you aren't working, then anything that pays is a good job.

I have to disagree, I Would have agreed in the past, but not after the horror that is Goodwill.

Everyone who works at goodwill has a story, my wife had classes with a guy who had a a customer ask him to help him pick something up and then flatulated in his face. I myself got cut by a rusty container they expect you to move around. and had countless other nasty things happen. Now, I could stand all of this normally - being abused in the work force is no new thing. But for freaking $6/hour? yes. there is a such thing as a bad job when you're not working.

Ever wondered what's the weirdest thing someone has ever donated? Well, we got a photo album full of pictures of a naked old guy. a double sided  :censored: a cabbage patch kid with a  :censored: sewed onto it, and countless bags of trash.

None of these posts have answered my first two VERY simple questions  :P

2) no... havn't used them

3) allready answered but you didn't like my answer, so therefore you may not like the answers to 1 and 2 also

That's Pride talking right there.  You need to swallow it.

As far as questions 1 and 2, it's pointless to answer them until you have a job to pay for this hobby.
