I would like to purchase a used arcade driving seat like OffRoad Thunder or something similiar. I do not need force feedback in the chair (if that even exists) and I do not need any stereo speakers in there either (although that might be cool). Anyway if you have something like this you want to sell, contact me directly at emailAddrRemoved

Just came across this site the other day. Don't know if it fits the bill but it seams reasonable.

"Way" to expensive.... I am thinking about a used chair for around $40 ... if it exists anywhere. I might end up going to the SuperAuctions to see what they have.....
If you have any ideas as to where I can get a cheapy chair then let me know... thanks

Do you have an old Camero out back or in the barn? Haha...I say get a real car seat.
I saw a post quite a while back, were someone posted a link to somebodys office setup; the webpage showed a car seat from a lincoln towncar or something along those lines. The rational was that car seats were *made* to be comfortable.

How bout a wrecking yard?
I've bought seats from wrecked sports cars for $40. Of course that was way back in my vdub days but I'm sure if you check around you could get a good deal. Besides those seats were designed for real comfort not just until you ran out of quarters.

Wow generic beat my to the punch must of posted that while I was composing mine :'(

If you are more of a "do it yourselfer," go to the fabric store. They sell foam pads that are 6inchs (and more) thick in useable lengths. Some of that and some leather or vynil from the next isle and you can cover it. Of course you will need some sort of frame too.

I have been to two different USAA Auctions in NJ. One did have seats, two pair as a matter of fact and they went for $45.00 a set there. Get there early as parts generally get auctioned first.

Thats what I am talking about. A pair of arcade seats for $45. Wish I could have been there to buy 'em....
Just looked at when the next Super Auction date near me will be....and the weekend they are around I am away on vacation, so I will be forced to wait forever to go to the Super Auction.
