Title: Alva vrs 8 liner chassis..

I have put in a replacment 8 liner chassis in my 27" monitor, and its okay but has some demension issues ect. Are the Alva chassis better? Ken im sure you have a  take on this. All info is appreciated,

Yes, the 8liners (Jenn Shin brand) chassis has 'pincushion' and 'barrel' distortion issues. The Alva (Wei-Ya brand) chassis is much better.

Do the colors on the Alva chassis look better than the 8 liners? My 8 liner has washed out whites that have a tan look to them....Sorry for the annoying questions.....Is an Isolation transformer required for the Alva's? If they are where would be the cheapest place to grab one at?
