Title: Coin Door Questions
Post by: mkdevo on February 28, 2003, 03:25:00 pm
hello all...

i have a few questions about coin doors.

first of all, is it possible to wire up a 2-player coin door for 4-player games? how would i do this?

second, let's say i get this over/under door from happ:

i'd also get the enslosure and the cashbox. is this all i need?? is this thing ready to be wired up for mame? or is this just a door and i need some internal stuff??

if you guys could point me in the right direction, that'd be great.

TIA!

if it's a mame cab just set the p3 and p4 coin as the same keypress as the p2 and p1 coin
if it's a real cab i see no reason why you can't lead 2 wires from the coin door insted of 1

You'll get 2 credits for every coin you insert or for every press of the button. If that isn't a problem for you then that method would work.

You can also use a shifted input or combination key input to get those if you wanted.
