Hey, since PM was started primarily geared towards the development of LEDWiz content integrated into MAME, can we also set forth a set of standards for button numbering. This way we can trade animations.
Example:
15 16 17
1 2 3 9 10 11
4 5 6 12 13 14
(15 - p1, 16 - coin up, 17 - p2)
Spaces are left for extra buttons if a person has em. This way you can program for a set standards. If someone does not have an extra button, odviously it would not play.
Any thoughts?

You know what? That was a perfect time to post that. I have just mounted the LEDWiz to the control panel and I'm getting ready to do the wiring. I have a four player cp. I suggest just numbering the player buttons, mouse buttons, and the joysticks. Even then I think it would be difficult because we all have so many configurations. But, I definitely like the idea. I'll wire my grounds tonight and await further comment.

Perhaps start with a core set of numbers and if more players are added then add numbers in pods. Then it gets more interesting if you go RGB. May be this is not such a good idea. :P Anyway I will wait for more input.
