Title: USB/PS2 Ready Happ Trackball Reliability?
Post by: lettuce on April 23, 2006, 06:00:13 pm
Whats the 'plug in play' USB/PS2 Happ trackballs like for reliability? I have heard that they fail after a bit of use, and that a non USB/PS2 happ trackball hooked up to a Opti-pac is alot better??

Mine sat in piles of MDF dust down in my basement/ workshop for weeks during construction of my cp and cab.  However, it has been in use since April 04' without any problems.

Its use should be considered minimal,  but I think it would be somewhere between light-normal use by others here.  I have only played a few heated games of golden tee on it so it has not been abused much (besides the MDF dust thing).  I have not heard from anyone else either regarding its poor reliability.

I have seen a few threads posted that report problems...but they seem to be the exception and not the rule.
