Title: Wiring Up a Coin Mech with credit baord to PC
Post by: lettuce on April 22, 2006, 05:55:56 am
Now ive done this before with my old converted Jamma cab, but when i build my new cab there will be no Jamma Harness, and thus will not have a J-PAC. So how do i wire a coin mech and credit baord so that it works with mame, am i able to run the wires from the coin mech and credit board to a I-PAC, GPWIZ-49 or Keywiz??

Coin door is just a switch.  It wires like any other cherry/leaf switch.  Run the wire that says "coin" from your KB emulator to the switch on the door and then hook it into the common ground.  Very simple.

The blue wire is ground and the white wire goes to the encoder.  Notice how they daiseychain.
