Has anyone come across quick disconnects that are the size needed for the lighted atari start buttons? The terminals are probably about 1/8" wide so using the regular .250 or .187 are too loose and prone to coming off
Are there options available for connecting these, or is solder my only real choice?

I use the .187 quick disconnects on my lighted atari volcano buttons and they haven't come off yet. I would suggest trying the .187 ones temporarily. There should be some resistance when you slide the quick disconnects on. It is this resistance that holds the disconnects onto the tabs.

If it is smaller than it is probably .110
There is an option you can get .110 quick disconnects. They are available through electronics distributors like mouser www.mouser.com (http://www.mouser.com) I have never seen them locally. You could probably also get them from a local operator or distributor like betson or a pinball part dealer like www.marcospec.com (http://www.marcospec.com) if you had to have the correct ones but I would probably just solder or make .187s fit rather than go through the trouble of finding If you have a decent electronics parts store near you you could try there.

Use a pair of pliers to squeeze the prongs to a tighter fit.
