Title: Question for Ikari Warriors owners/those familiar with cab

Can someone tell me what the bezel is made of and whether it was behind or in front of the protective glass/plexi?  I saw a laminated cardboard one on ebay recently, but I can't imagine that was stuck in front of the glass.  But when I look at pictures of the cab on KLOV, it looks like it's on the outside.
