Hello all,
I'm really close to completing my second Mame cab, and I'd like this one to have a customized list of games in Mamewah. I'm not talking about filters, like "fighting games" and stuff like that, I'm talking about a list with the exact titles I choose. I've searched, and I mostly get stuff about filters. Can somebody point me in the right direction here, just a bit of a nudge? Once I know where to start, I should be able to take care of the rest. Also, a quick response would be lovely, as I am so close to getting this done, I may even be able to send it off tonight (it's not for me, someone is making me build one for him)
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks,
spongebue

Sounds like you are needing to use the 'favourites' list.
In your main list, if you go into list options, there should be one to add the current game to 'favourites'.

This is exactly what I am doing right now, making a "favorits" list. Create a file (mame-1.ini in the ini folder of Mamewah) as the example below:
### mame-1.ini (mamewah v1.61) ###
list_title Favorites
### Games List Settings ###
cycle_list 1
list_type normal
display_clone_info 0
max_favorites 0
### Execution Settings ###
commandline_format
alt_commandline_format_1
alt_commandline_format_2
### Settings used by MAMEWAH ###
current_game 1
Now launch Mamewah.
You should have your main, unfiltered list.
Scroll down and highlight a game you want added to Favorites.
Press number 2, then go to the "Games List Options" Press 1
Press 1 again, which should be "Add game to list"
Select the Favorites list and press 1 again.
To select you Favorites list, simply press 2, Highlight Select Games List and press 1.
Select the Favorites list and press 1 again.

Yeah, I figured that out last night, I didn't just didn't want to use the menu to remove all the games first, then I found out I didn't have to enter the menu each time, all is good now :)
