Title: stupid question about hap cga monitor

i have a happ vision cga monitor. it is not the pro. standard cga resolution only.

will i have a problem getting this to work using standard video card or will the resolution of the monitor be incompatible. I guess what I'm really asking is do i have to use the arcade VGA card with this monitor or will any card work.

Found out my answer. It seems you can use certain video cards using advanceMame.

however i broke down and just bought an arcadeVGA card anyway. seems like alot of people love the results.
