I've done a ton of searching on this, and I'm having to resort to starting a thread around here. Aw well, hope it works out...
I'm running the latest version of mame (though I had the same problem with an older version) and the -skip_disclaimer option when starting MAME does not work, it just gives a parse error. I have tried to get the same thing done by using a mame.ini file, and I got something similar (it ignored it rather than aprupt the whole thing)
I do know a little bit of C, so if I have to dig into the source a little bit and recompile, that is not impossible with a little pointing in the right direction.
By the way, -skip_gameinfo works, and -skip_warnings does not. (same symptoms
Any help is appreciated, of course.
Thanks,
spongebue

It's been removed.

Awww, dernit! Oh well, I was able to just copy Mame over from another computer I have, and that works well enough :)
-
btw, it was removed because it only shows up once per game now. It's not that bad...

You can recompile mame to remove the disclaimer...

I just recompiled mame .106b with the skip_disclaimer and skip_warning re-enabled in the config file... if anyone wants it, PM me and I'll email it to you.
