Title: MameWah Issue with 105 or PowerMame?
Post by: southpaw13 on April 14, 2006, 07:34:24 am
Hello, I updated from PowerMame 104 to 105 and MameWah now has a black screen when I start a game.  You can hear the audio, but the computer seems to be stuck on MameWah.  Nothing really detected on the TXT file.  Did anyone else run across this problem?  I am going to try the regular Mame 105 build when I get home tonight....

Confirmed that MameWah is not working with 105.  I tried the regular binary with my Mame 104 config and my 105 config and I get a black screen.  I switched back to Mame 104 and it works fine.  Looks like the screen has a quick flash with 104 where it is missing with 105.  Is 105 handling things a little different?

Any help appreciated,
Southpaw

Well, it looks like I am going to keep answering myself....
FYI to all,  the last MameWah beta seems to work fine with 105...

Sounds like {safelaunch} would fix the issue you were having.
