Title: Kind of Ironic
Post by: 97thruhiker on April 12, 2006, 10:03:24 pm
When I was a kid in the late 70's early 80's I sat and played all the arcade classics that were availiable on the old Atari 2600.  Missle Command, Defender, Ms Pacman, and Centipede to name a few.  While I enjoyed them greatly I longed for the weekend when I could go to the arcade to play the "real" thing.  Beyond the social aspect of the arcades the home units could just not compare.  Well flash forward 25 years and I have my very own cabinet with just about every arcade game from my youth in all their glory and lately I find myself playing the Atari 2600 versions instead.  They are really cool on the cabinet!
