i cut out the holes for buttons and joysicks only i overlooked the space between trackball and flight stick. they may be too close together and could slam into the flight stick during trackball play. so i moved spinner, buttons, and flight stick up about a inch in visio and will get my dad to print it out at work.
now my question is would it be possible for me to bondo the buttons and gee the large hole for flight stick? i know buttons are possible as i seen it done before but not flight stick hole.

I wouldn't Bondo or anything like that. Does the wood feel weak?
Maybe do a reinforcement job with some scrap wood?

I imagine a hole that size would be too big to fill with bondo. For the sake of a few dollars I would just get another piece of MDF/P-Board and start again. I think you will be much happer with the result in the end.

this is why many people buy some cheap press board and build their control panel... then play it for a week or so, then rebuild it... before putting art / finishing work on it.
I would personally build it up the way it is and try it. If you use quick disconnects, you will be able to rip it apart and start over without major rewiring.
The advantage here is you might have other comments / other parts you might want to change / tweek.
I've rebuilt my 2player 8way 7button control panel like 3 or 4 times. Each time with slight changes.
