Hey all,
Quick question. I am about to mount two Perfect 360s into a new controller I am building. Before I take the next step, I would like an opinion on whether or not I need to route a 1/4" groove out from under each of the joystick bases to allow the sticks to sit a 1/4" higher.
I am mounting these into a 3/4" piece of wood. Would prefer to nto have to route, but, with the three controllers I have built in the past, I have always routed those bases.
Anyway, any opinions regarding the necessary installation precautions for the Perfect 360 joysticks would be appreciated.
Regards,
Chuck

If your not covering with plexi and you use the taller spacer I would say you wouldn't have to route but its really a matter of personal preference. If you don't route I'd quess its probably going to be 1/8" shorter than if you had used the shorter spacer on a metal panel.
