Title: is the FAQ the Step-by-Step newbie guide?

Not very clear. I keep looking for alink called FAQ or something similar.  ???

The newbie guide is the FAQ that many people refer to although eightbit is true in what he's saying as well.

The newbie guide is a faq but its not the main faq, its says so in the introduction page of the newbie guide.
