I looked through the feedback and the people who have bought them seem happy what do you guys think.

No need for all that stuff at the end of your link, it just sends the forum pages cascading off the edge of the screen:

It's not cheap, and the packing/shipping puts it over the top.

Its nice but you can do much cheaper by building yourself or using a kit

I don't think it's too bad of deal. Looks like you might even be able to get it for $900. By the time you add up all the parts: monitor, control panel, controls, bezel, tempered glass, coin door, t-molding, power supply, wiring, wood, actual pcb; you wouldn't be saving a whole lot by doing it yourself. Don't forget your time is worth something.
On the other hand it is a fun and rewarding experience to build your own.

Yeah, but then you add the $245.00 s/h and you're over $1100!

This is all true. If you're looking for a brand new ms pac cocktail to have in your home (or wherever), then $900 doesn't sound so bad. But, just for reference, I'm currently working on a MAME cocktail. I don't have a monitor yet, I'm going to put in a computer that I already own (and is collecting dust in the basement) and I'm not going to pay hundreds of dollars on a CP underlay.
That being said, once I add the monitor (~$200) my total price will be much closer to $600 than $1100. But, who knows when it'll be done :)
If you really want a ms pac cocktail and your time is worth a few hundred bucks and you're local and can pick that up without enduring the $245 shipping and handling fees, then it could be worth it.
