Title: Laminate how much and where to buy?
Post by: jefurse on April 06, 2006, 10:19:17 am
Just starting to build a cab, where is the best palce to buy laminate and how much should it run per square foot? Thanks. Should I try Home Depot or specialized shops?

I did a search and found this...hope it helps.  Only used paint myself in the past, but I'm looking to laminate my next one, just haven't gotten that far yet.

I like that vinyl suggestion, looks to be a cheaper alternative. I will eventually print some artwork for the side and control panel, so I won't need alot. Thanks, again.

Oh, I've been wondering about this and I saw this thread so I thought I'd ask here.

I found this vinyl stuff that looks like it'd be easy to use.

The problem is it only comes in 2 ft wide rolls.  Does anybody know of any other places that may sell this stuff in 3 ft wide rolls?  I've searched high and low and can't find anything like this anywhere else.

I have looked around for quite a while for this in a wider that 2 foot sheet but have had no luck at all.
I have however seen different types of vinyl in a three foot roll for auction on ebay that do look promissing if you do not want to have a seam at the 2 foot mark.
