Title: Sony Trinitron 21" monitor washed out colors

Hi all,

Decided to put an older Sony Trinitron flat screen 21" monitor in my machine.  Sold originally by Dell.  Got my hands on one and it looked good until I hit some little button on the front  :hissy:...some sort of reset?  I seemed to undo all settings on the monitor.   I managed to resize the image, recenter, etc easily enough... but the colors look all washed out (contrast?)

I've been playing with the settings and the rgb settings seem to have the most effect but I can't seem to get the colors to come back. 

Anyone experienced this before?  Have any suggestions?

if its a digital monitor then you will have an extended menu which should allow you to set up individual colours etc,on alot of monitors to access this you must hold down your adjustment button and power up thus accessing the extended menu where you will find a multitude of adjustments,try this first(the access to the menu may be different on your monitor,but its gonna be in that realm)
