Title: Another guide for disabling XP services.
Post by: markb on April 06, 2006, 03:32:48 am
While browsing the other day I came across another good guide for disabling services in XP.

http://qwertymaniac.wordpress.com/2006/03/22/disabling-useless-services-and-sppeding-up-your-computer/ (http://qwertymaniac.wordpress.com/2006/03/22/disabling-useless-services-and-sppeding-up-your-computer/)

It's difficult to tell if it has made much speed difference as the machine I tried this on is not really pushed however the boot time was improved and it has been stable.

I believe the Black Viper site which previously had a guide has been discontinued?
