Title: Trackball 2 1/4 vs 3 Mame settings

I don't think I've seen this covered - if so, sorry.

I want to know if the settings in Mame will differ significantly for say a 3" Happs or Wico vs a 2 1/4"

If so, which works better with default settings?

If I have 2, can I specify different settings for each?

It depends on the trackball. Different balls of the same size will require different settings in mame based on the size of their encoder wheels and number of teeth.

You could specify different settings but it wouldn't be easy. The easyiest way I can think of would be to run win98 with analog plus and configure both trackballs then configure your games for one or the other depending on which one you wanted to play that game with.
