Just installed Lazarus 4.5. I am running WinXP. I get Shockwave Error:10, then my system crashes, and i lose the taskbar, etc...
whats this about?
i DID get the Shockwave Xtras files, and put them in. I DO have the neweset shockwave installed, and RealPlayer as well.
Anyone?

I spent many hours trying to get lazarus to run properly, but wasnt able to... i finally gave up and went with gamelauncher, it is very nice also and much easier to setup (though that did take some tweaking too).
I wish i could help answer your question regarding lazarus, but I really dont know :(
I used to take installation of software that worked right after you installed it for granted-- never again.

Lazarus does work right after you install it, (except for the last two revisions) you just have to follow the instructions ans set it up properly for your system. Failure to follow the instructions will result in error.
Shockwave errors can be a number of things, most of which are beyond my control as they relate to the plugin itself..... all rules for 3darcade apply to the last version of lazarus.... in other words corrupted cabinets, not having your artwork subfolders in a "dswmedia" folder and corrupted png files are all culprits or errors.
Other than that I can't help you. Lazarus is a dead project, wait for dxlaz.
