Title: My Betson 27" Multisync Just Died - Any Suggestions?
Post by: markrvp on April 03, 2006, 07:25:50 pm
I have a new Betson 27" Multisync that I got in December for a Golden Tee cabinet I just built.  I bench tested the monitor last night with the Golden Tee board and it worked great.  Before installing it in the cabinet, I wiped some dust from the back of the tube and used canned air to blow off the chassis.  I put it in the cabinet and now it won't power up

NOTHING.  No clicking, no light, no nothing.  I pulled it out of the cabinet and checked the fuse just down from the AC input and it passed a continuity test.

It's dead as a doornell.  It's not doing ANYTHING.  Anybody have any thoughts or ideas or something I can check?

any indication that you are actually getting power to the monitor?  Power LED?

None at all.  120v to the chassis power input, but nothing to the monitor.

I have taken it to Betson in Dallas for them to repair.
