Title: Quick question. Do resisters have a install direction?

OK, this is real simple, I remember reading that resisters don't have a install direction, is this true?

I dug through some LED sites but didn't find the answer. I want to hook some of my UV LEDs up tonight for my kids but then I came across the resister problem.

Any late niters out there with a answer?
