Just want to see what people are using out there.
I was thinking about using wheels on the bottom of my cab, the wheels I have in mind do have a switch to lock the wheel in place. The wheel also has the ability to turn. So basiclly I am not sure if this will be a plus or minus.
Is anyone using wheels out there? How is the game play?
I am not sure if the cab will shift if two people are playing a fighting style game. I know I play wild and dont stay in place >:D

I have two fixed and two swivel wheels on mine and it plays fine, no wobble what so ever, then again it does depend on your cab integrity.
Heres a thread for ya:-

where are the fixed located and your reasoning behind two of each. And no I am not being a smart 'A' I am truely wanting to know.

I put the two fixed ones on the back, and the two swivel ones up front.
That makes the cab a little less stable for side-to-side shaking than doing it the other way, but allows you to navigate REALLY tight spaces with it.
The amount of play in my carpet padding is the major factor in all the play though.
A set of "spike" legs would stabilize it better, but wouldn't allow it to move as easily.
As far as why I did two of each, rather than all four swivelling, it helps guide the cabinet straight when they don't all swivel.
The two non-swivelling ones will force the swivel ones to follow them on a straight back push.
I've got a few tilt back type cabinets, where they have leg levelers all the way around, but you can tilt the cabinet back onto wheels.
That works fine for navigating larger spaces, but won't allow you to turn a corner with the cabinet upright in a small hallway.
I've got a couple cabs that don't have any wheels as well.
Unless your cab is really light (candy cab, etc...) I don't recommend that at all.

My cabnet doesnt use wheels to move it. I slid it around on the floor but if I have to move it around more than just a few inches I will use a dolly. Im on a wood floor so I can just slide it.

It wasn't uncommon for some arcade cabinets to have wheels.
My Moon Patrol and APB cabinets both have wheels. The Moon Patrol has 4 swiveling wheels and can be pushed any direction at will.
The APB has fixed wheels in the back and swiveling in the front. It takes a little more effort to steer but moves fine.
I use them both on my carpeted basement floor. They don't move during play.
For all my other games, I put the magic sliders under the cabinet feet.

I second two of each. I used four swivel on my own cabinet and it is a bear to get moved on carpeting because the back wheels will be sideways and hard to move.
