Title: Driving Cab Question
Post by: leapinlew on March 31, 2006, 02:05:40 am
I am debating on purchasing a cab that is a driver. It used to be a Atari Lemans cab. It has a steering wheel and pedals. Unfortunately, I don't know much about driving games and I wouldn't mind having one.

I'd like to play mostly games that used the 360 degree wheel and mostly the older games. My questions are:

How many games could I play that used a pole position type steering wheel? (I realize spyhunter/paper boy wouldn't work easily)

Will the pedals be difficult for a electrician rookie to install? If they are analog, would it be hard to make them microswitched, and if I did, would there be many games that would become unplayable because of this?

What I don't want is to build the cabinet and have it play 2 games well, and 50 games poorly.
